The Parish Council are pleased to let you know that we partnered with The Charlwood Society and Diocese of Southwark to arrange for the necessary work to be carried out to stabilise the historic cattle shelter in the Glebe Field, known fondly as the Hovel. Steel props have been installed to try to prevent further collapse of the building. Barriers have been installed at the entrances to prevent entry for safety reasons. Please do not try to enter the building and if you have children please warn them not to enter. It is hoped that at some time in the future an arrangement can be formulated with the Diocese that will see the building being renovated
