S&A Committee

The Services & Amenities Committee (S&A) is an important committee with wide-ranging responsibilities.

Anything to do with the facilities that Charlwood Parish Council hires out - the football and cricket pitches, the Club Room in the Pavilion in the Recreation Ground - comes under the management of the S&A Committee. As do the facilities provided by the Parish Council such as the playgrounds at Charlwood and Hookwood and the Pavilion. 

In addition the S&A Committee looks after the leisure and amenity spaces: the Recreation Ground itself, The Withey in Hookwood, the Millennium Field and Glebe Field (leased from JB&TMT) as well as the War Memorial, the Village Sign and Noticeboards. Keeping areas such as Black Ditch, Rosemary Lane etc in good order are the responsibility of the land owner but the Parish Council takes a close interest in maintaining access.  

The Club Room of the Pavilion is available for hire for community groups and activity groups such as yoga and pilates, and also for private hire. A booking form can be obtained by clicking on the link below while a list of Terms & Conditions and other associated documents are also available below.
